When do you start taking reservations for the 2019 season?
Reservations for the 2019 season will begin on Monday, January 7th after 8:00 A.M.
When is Kickoff To Camping?
Kickoff To Camping is always the first weekend after Memorial Day. This year, it will be May 31st-June 2nd.
What is Kickoff to Camping?
Kickoff To Camping is our big celebration celebrating the new camping season! We have live music on both Friday and Saturday night. Both bands play from 8pm-12am. Prices for this weekend include access to our waterpark, entrance to the bands, and free beer and soda once the bands begin! For more information, please view Kickoff To Camping.
What are the dates going to be for Fourth of July this Year?
This year the dates for the Fourth of July will be Thursday, July 4th through Monday, July 7th. You can stay any of these nights, however we do have a three-night minimum.
When will your fireworks be this year?
Unfortunately, we will no longer be hosting fireworks for Fourth of July. Instead, we will have live music playing from 8pm until midnight on either Friday or Saturday.
Do you have Wi-Fi?
Our internet line has finally been updated, so yes we do provide free Wi-Fi. However it is still very limited.
Do you have rental units?
Yes! We have seven beautiful rental units that are available for rent April-October. These units are R22, R55, R63, R64, R67, R78, Cabin 1, and Cabin 2. For more information, please view Rental Units.
Are your rental units pet friendly?
Pets are only allowed in units R63, R64, and R78 for an additional $10 per night, per pet.
How many people can your rental units hold?
Our rental units do not hold more than six guests. Our policy is 2 adults and their dependent children, or four adults. Any additional guests will be charge $20 per guest, per day.
Do you have group sites?
Yes! We have multiple group sites located in the woods and in the open field. These Sites include 1/1A, 2/2A, 26/28, 31/31A, 32/33, 47/47A/49/49A, 58/58A, 90/90A, 92/92A, 120/120A, 123/123A/123B/123C/123D/123E/123F, I/J/K, and 140/L. These sites all share a firepit.
Do you rent out your pavilion?
Yes! We rent out our front pavilion as well as the outer portion of our larger building in the back. Please call for prices and availability.
Is your waterpark open to the public?
For $5 per person, the public is allowed to take advantage of our waterpark. Please view Specials & Additional fees for more information.
Does our stay in October include tickets to the Haunted House?
Unfortunately, it does not. Quietwoods South Camping Resort only hosts the haunted house; we are not the ones who actually put it on. Please view Haunted Mansion for pricing and more information.
Do you have Seasonal Sites available?
At this time, we do not have any seasonal sites available. If you would like to get put on a waiting list, please give our office a call.
Are we allowed to set a tent up or another unit up on our site.
If it fits, yes. However, if the additional unit is for another family or other adults, you will be charged as if you have two sites. If you have a site, and your children want to pitch a tent to sleep in, there will be no charge. Please call in advance to make sure that your site will accommodate an additional unit.
When asked the size of my camper, should I include the tongue and hitch?
No! Our sites are made to account for both the tongue and the hitch. Including these in your length, reduces the amount of available sites we have to accommodate you.
When does the waterpark open and close for the season?
The waterpark opens Memorial Day Weekend and we try to keep it open at least two weekends after Labor Day , weather permitting.
